Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) formalized a distribution agreement with Amazon Leo on May 28, 2026, becoming an authorized distributor of its low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network services for businesses and civilian public sector organizations in Taiwan. FET plans to introduce these high-speed broadband services as early as next year, pending regulatory approvals, leveraging its network operations experience and information and communication systems integration capabilities to augment traditional networks and extend service reach beyond existing footprints.
