FC Lugano is scheduled to face Hellas Verona in a friendly match at the AIL Arena on October 2, 2026, with the game streamed live on its official YouTube channel. This followed the FC Lugano Femminile team's elimination from the AXA Women’s Cup on September 27, after a 0-8 defeat to Basel in the round of 32 at the Centro Sportivo Al Maglio.
