Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, a privately owned entity headquartered in Germany, operates with approximately 50 employees. Functioning as Germany's largest opera and concert house, it features a 2,500-seat capacity. The building itself was originally constructed in 1904 as the Baden-Baden central railway station, replacing an earlier station from 1845, and served as a railway station for several decades until the closure of the branch line in 1977.
