On August 20, 2026, three University of Hull computer science graduates, Alex Sparkes, Rand Nessif, and Jack Shanks, founded Heuro Studios, a new digital studio creating immersive experiences, apps, and websites, after securing backing through a Quickline-supported enterprise scheme. This follows an August 18 announcement that a young East Yorkshire entrepreneur enhanced his digital content business thanks to a grant from an innovative Quickline-John Cracknell Youth Enterprise Bank (JCYEB) partnership, which Quickline established earlier in the year to foster digital inclusion and youth entrepreneurship. On August 18, Heuro Studios director Alex Sparkes emphasized that the grant ensured their work in making digital content accessible would not be hindered by equipment. Previously, on August 17, Quickline awarded £728.97 to Sparkes, who co-founded Heuro Studios in Hull city centre's K2 building with Nessif and Shanks.
