FORTA, also known as the Federation of Regional Organizations of Radio and Television (Federación de Organismos de Radio y Televisión Autonómicos), is a privately owned Spanish association established in 1989. It comprises twelve public broadcasting networks from Spain's autonomous communities. FORTA's primary activity is the production and distribution of broadcast media. As of 2024, the organization employs approximately 170 people and generates annual revenues below $10 million.
On September 11, 2025, a new testing laboratory dedicated to asphalt and concrete fiber testing opened in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This facility is the first of its kind. On September 15, 2025, products Forta-Ferro® fibrous reinforcement and Helix® Micro Rebar reinforcements received environmental verification statements from NEU: An ACI Center of Excellence for Carbon Neutral Concrete. NEU's program provides independent assessments of environmental claims for technologies focused on reduced-carbon cement concrete and related solutions.
