As of 2023, the company employs approximately 60 people and focuses on providing readily deployable aerial intelligence solutions to assist emergency responders. Their primary product line centers on drones designed to enhance situational awareness and aid in life-saving efforts.
Fotokite presented its Rooftop Box Drone system at LandEuro 2025. This vehicle-mounted tethered unmanned aerial system (UAS) is designed for public safety and emergency response applications, using the Fotokite Sigma platform for automatic deployment from SUVs or heavy apparatus vehicles. Separately, Fotokite's tethered drone technology is being used for event security in the United States, providing real-time situational awareness for crowd management and traffic flow. On June 19, 2025, it was announced that Fotokite would be an official sponsor of ElevateUAV 2025, taking place October 21st-22nd in Miami, Florida.
