On October 2, 2026, Fox Business Network unveiled a new weekday programming lineup, effective October 12, which includes "Big Money in the Morning" from 6:00 am to 9:00 am ET, hosted by Dagen McDowell, Brian Brenberg, Taylor Riggs, and Barron’s Josh Schafer. This follows the network setting the new weekday slate on October 1, after longtime host Maria Bartiromo’s abrupt departure from the network in early September. Fellow Fox Business host Larry Kudlow had already been tapped to temporarily take over the "Sunday Morning Futures" seat left by Bartiromo's exit. Previously, on September 30, the network's eponymous program "Kudlow" closed September 2026 as the top-rated program in business news, according to Nielsen Media Research, with FBN securing three of the top five programs with business viewers and delivering month-to-month gains with younger viewers in business day programming. Earlier, on September 9, Peter Navarro, senior counselor for trade and manufacturing to President Trump, criticized Fox News for taking Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo off the air, stating the company was not "friendly to MAGA." Bartiromo had worked with Fox Business since 2014 and was a vocal supporter of Trump on the network.
