Flanders Scientific released firmware 3.2.03 for its XMP and XMP C Series monitors on January 20, 2026, introducing an HDR False Color mode that automatically switches the LUM Coloring False Color mode to a PQ Nits-based scale when the monitor is set to PQ EOTF. Previously, on December 12, 2025, the company released firmware 3.1.15 for the same series, which included new Quad Mode options, per-input color management, and improved DIT LUT handling, alongside renaming 3G\_INx4 to Quad Mode. Earlier in December, on the 2nd, Flanders Scientific announced its XMP C Series, comprising the 26.5″ XMP270C, 31.5″ XMP310C, and 55″ XMP550C, which utilize the same QD-OLED panels as the XMP series but in a more compact, lighter, and cost-effective form factor for OB trucks and broadcast control rooms. This followed the November 2, 2025, announcement of the XMP651 65″ QD-OLED UHD HDR reference monitor, a larger version of the 55″ XMP551, designed for HDR and SDR mastering environments. In October, on the 6th, Flanders Scientific had released Public Beta 3.1.14 for XMP monitors, unlocking 6G/12G Quad Mode and per-input color controls, accompanied by significant changes to both menu structure and underlying code.
