On August 20, 2024, Pitch Black appointed Paul Richards as Chief Technology Officer. On October 22, 2024, Pitch Black announced the appointment of Manuel Ramírez as President of El Ranchito. On January 21, 2025, Pitch Black's rebranding of FuseFX to FOLKS was announced, welcoming teams in Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, and Vancouver. Additional announcements regarding the rebranding to FOLKS were made on January 23, 2025.
