It functions as a subsidiary of China Network Television (CNTV), which is the official online division of Chinese national public broadcaster China Central Television (CCTV). The company focuses on the expansion of Internet TV business, operating a national Internet TV platform known as China Internet TV (iCNTV), which serves millions of online users. iCNTV is recognized as the first internet television platform approved by China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT).
