Ghost VFX, a privately owned company headquartered in the US and a subsidiary of Streamland Media, was founded in 1999 and operates with approximately 800 employees. The company specializes in providing visual effects services for feature film and television productions.
Ghost VFX employed Andreas Kjær-Jensen, a Lead Lighting Artist, who recorded a video training workshop on the Solaris toolset for The Gnomon Workshop. This workshop, released by The Gnomon Workshop, contains over six hours of video training in Houdini and Nuke. In the summer of 2022, Ghost VFX hired a new employee whose role blends VFX Production and Human Resources. The company also participated in the post-production of a film by Coppola, collaborating with four other visual effects studios: RISE, Narwhal Studios, Wild Capture, and Universal Production Partners (UPP). Previsualization work for this project was handled by Digital Domain and The Third Floor. Dirk Riesenfeld, a VFX supervisor with experience at Industrial Light & Magic and Moving Picture Company (MPC), joined Artjail, a separate VFX studio, not Ghost VFX. An Executive Vice President, North America, joined Ghost VFX to work with other Executive Leadership.
