Gijima announced a partnership with Darkies in Tech. On February 10, 2025, Gijima announced a strategic partnership with Nokia after securing a contract from the SKA Observatory (SKAO) to provide a long-haul transmission network. A computer skills training initiative, launched in collaboration with Lenmed, Fedics Catering Services, and The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, aims to empower unemployed youth and semi-skilled workers. Nokia and Gijima signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to introduce AI-ready campus solutions across Southern Africa, focusing on utilities, fintech, retail, and hospitality sectors. Gijima provides solutions to clients across multiple industries with over 50 points of presence throughout Southern Africa.
