Glensound, a privately owned company headquartered in the UK, was founded in 1966 and operates with approximately 20 employees, reporting $1.6M in revenue as of 2023. These units serve as throwdown interfaces for microphones or line inputs and include dual redundant internet connections via fibre or copper. On the same day, Glensound's Beatrice technology was adopted for the Cubic Kilometre Neutrino Telescope (KM3NeT) deep-ocean research project. This European research infrastructure, located at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea, detects and studies neutrinos from distant astrophysical sources and Earth's atmosphere.
