GoNetspeed, formerly known as OTELCO, is a privately owned company headquartered in the US. Founded in 1998, it employs approximately 130 individuals and reported $13.6M in revenue as of 2023. The company functions as a communications provider.
On April 28, 2026, T-Mobile formed a joint venture with Oak Hill Capital to acquire GoNetspeed and Greenlight Networks, an initiative designed to expand fiber access across key Northeastern markets and strengthen T-Mobile's next-generation broadband portfolio. Previously, on April 21, 2026, GoNetspeed announced plans to bring its 100% fiber network to two additional Connecticut communities, Derby and Shelton, via a combined $4.2 million investment set to provide internet access to more than 8,600 residents and businesses. This followed an April 20, 2026, update from GoNetspeed confirming active construction progress in both Derby and Shelton, with customers in Shelton’s initial build areas already eligible for installation and Derby’s first customer connections anticipated by summer 2026.
