GOtv, also known as GOtv Africa, is a privately owned company, a subsidiary of Multichoice Africa, headquartered in Nigeria. The media and TV services provider, a tier 1 media tech buyer, operates as a digital terrestrial television (DTT) pay-TV operator and multi-channel platform across sub-Saharan Africa. Launched in 2011 in partnership with local public broadcasters such as the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, GOtv functions as an accessible, low-cost digital terrestrial alternative to MultiChoice's satellite-based DStv service. Headquartered operationally out of key regional hubs including Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and Uganda, GOtv was established to accelerate Africa's digital migration from legacy analog signals to modern digital broadcasting standards.
