Greatest Hits Radio, a privately owned company based in the UK, was founded in 1992 and operates with approximately 20 employees. Specializing in broadcast media production and distribution, the company functions as a classic hits radio network in the United Kingdom, owned and operated by Bauer Media Audio UK.
Greatest Hits Radio announced on March 25, 2026, that Jenny Powell would take over the station’s Mix Tape shows. This move follows Martin Kemp's decision to step back to focus on his live DJ sets, with his final show airing on April 4th and Powell slated to begin on April 10th. Previously, on February 17, the station revealed Stephanie Hirst would join the main station to host a new Saturday show, "Spinnin’ the Decades," in Paul Gambaccini’s slot. This program, bringing Hirst's 'Spinnin’ format from Greatest Hits Radio 60s to a wider audience, was scheduled to debut on March 7th.
