Group Nine Media, a privately owned US-based digital media company founded in 2016, produces online audio and video content. In 2023, it employed approximately 90 people. Group Nine's portfolio of brands includes NowThis, Seeker, The Dodo, and Thrillist; it is currently a subsidiary of Vox Media.
Roadway filed a complaint against Curbed, alleging inaccuracies in an article concerning the origin of influence collaboration moving content. Roadway contends the article incorrectly stated multiple companies pioneered this in 2019, claiming Roadway developed the idea in 2017 and alleging reckless disregard for the truth or actual malice by Vox. An attorney for Roadway stated he had no comment pending service of the complaint on defendants. Separately, Vox Media announced a new podcast, ACCESS, in partnership with journalist Alex Heath and brand strategist Ellis Hamburger. The weekly podcast will cover the tech industry, focusing on artificial intelligence and its impact on products, companies, and culture. Alex Heath's departure from The Verge to launch this podcast was also announced.
