Ha-Meem Group, a privately owned company headquartered in Bangladesh, was founded in 1984 by A. K. Azad and Delwar Hossain. The group employs between 50,000 and 75,000 people. It began as a single readymade garments (RMG) unit before expanding into composite textiles, washing facilities, shipping, tea plantations, packaging, and mass media. The group operates 26 garment factories with over 300 production lines, generating a major portion of its revenue through high-volume apparel exports to Europe and North America. Operating from its corporate headquarters in Tejgaon, Dhaka, the group houses its publishing, broadcasting, and digital media portfolio under its specialized division, Times Media Limited.
