Imagine Communications showcased practical innovations in IP-based production and cloud-driven efficiencies at WABE 2025. On September 4th, 2025, and at IBC2025 (September 12-15, RAI Amsterdam, stand 1.B73), Imagine Communications launched XVR, a new offering of scalable playout engines. XVR engines are designed to streamline the launch and management of broadcast-quality linear and live streaming channels across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments. These engines run on Linux foundations and leverage data center technologies for rapid and secure deployment, particularly suitable for SMPTE ST 2110 or cloud-hosted scenarios. The company noted that current video network monitoring tools often lack focus on the complexities of IP networks or content delivery networks.
