HBO Asia is a privately owned company headquartered in Singapore. Founded in 1992, this Asian division of HBO employs approximately 60 individuals and functions as a tier 1 media tech buyer. The company specializes in media and TV services, broadcasting five 24-hour commercial-free subscription movie channels (HBO, HBO Signature, HBO Family, HBO Hits, and Cinemax), along with the Asian movie channel Red by HBO. Its offerings also include the internet streaming platform HBO GO, the subscription video on demand (SVOD) service HBO On Demand, and a branded SVOD service in China named 鼎级剧场.
