On September, Governor Kevin Stitt appointed Dustin Hilliary, co-owner of Hilliary Communications, as a Senior Advisor. Hilliary Communications reached an agreement on Wednesday to purchase The Lawton Constitution from Southern Newspapers Inc., with the sale expected to close within weeks. On July 17, 2025, Hilliary Communications announced plans to acquire TDS Telecom’s Oklahoma operations, adding 35,000 locations to its network. The companies filed a request with the FCC for approval to transfer control of Oklahoma Communications Systems and Mid-America Telephone.
