Howard Smith Wharves, a privately owned entity headquartered in the United Kingdom, was established in 2013. The company oversees a heritage-listed wharf situated on the Brisbane River beneath Bowen Terrace in Brisbane City and Fortitude Valley, Queensland, Australia. Constructed between 1939 and 1942, it was formerly known as Brisbane Central Wharves. This 3.5-hectare (8.6-acre) site is recognized as one of Brisbane's most culturally and historically significant riverfront locations, having been added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 4 February 1997.
