India Today will host the Tamil Nadu Round Table in Chennai on February 11, bringing together a distinguished cross-section of political leaders, policymakers, analysts, and public voices to examine the state’s political, economic, and social landscape ahead of the upcoming Assembly Elections. Previously, on January 29, the India Today-CVoter's Mood of the Nation (MOTN) survey indicated a likely clean sweep for the INDIA bloc in Tamil Nadu, projecting the alliance to win 38 of the state’s 39 Lok Sabha seats if elections were held in January 2026. The same survey also found that Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains the country’s most preferred choice for the top post, while Congress leader Rahul Gandhi registered steady gains. Earlier on January 29, another segment of the MOTN survey projected the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to secure over 350 seats if Lok Sabha polls were held then, following electoral wins in Delhi and Bihar in 2025 and decisive victories in the BMC and Maharashtra municipal elections at the start of 2026.
