The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF), founded in 1999 and headquartered in India, is a media production organization. As of 2023, it employs approximately 10 people. The IBF positions itself as a leading representative body for television broadcasters in India.
The Indian Broadcasting & Digital Foundation (IBDF) urged Prasar Bharati to improve transparency and predictability in its DD Free Dish auction system. On July 30, 2025, the IBDF subsidiary, the Indian Digital Media Industry Foundation (IDMIF), appointed Kevin Vaz as its new President. Multiple announcements confirmed this appointment, with Vaz currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Entertainment Business at JioStar. The IDMIF board of directors made the decision on July 30, 2025. Further announcements regarding the appointment were made on August 4, 2025.
