This followed the March 10 announcement of artists for the 2026 NCAA March Madness Music Festival, with Twenty One Pilots, Zac Brown Band, and Megan Moroney scheduled to perform in Indianapolis from April 3–5. Earlier, on March 5, Indiana Sports Corp and the 2026 NCAA Men’s Final Four Indianapolis Local Organizing Committee distributed $75,000 in Read to the Final Four® Literacy Legacy Grants to schools, including Coulston Elementary, across Indiana to promote literacy ahead of the tournament. On February 24, as the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine began, Indianapolis city leaders expressed interest in hosting the NFL Draft as soon as 2030.
