The International Boxing Association (IBA), a privately owned organization founded in 1946 and headquartered in Switzerland, is the global governing body for the sport of boxing. Employing approximately 160 people as of 2023, the IBA's primary activity is the organization and oversight of competitive boxing events for spectators.
The International Boxing Association (IBA) held International Boxing Day celebrations on August 27, 2025, in Dengfeng, Zhengzhou, China, featuring Shaolin Tagou Martial Arts School students. The IBA also announced the return of the Oceania Elite Championships from September 15th to 21st, 2025, in Tahiti, marking the first time women will compete alongside men for a $100,000 prize fund. Finally, the AFBC Normalisation Committee, under IBA guidance, reported resolving outstanding prize money payments for events in Mozambique and Tunisia.
