On June 18, 2026, Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) and Qatar Foundation (QF), collaborating with the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar, hosted a high-level event during the 62nd Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council. The event advocated for women in sport and supported the continued professionalization and expansion of women’s padel. Earlier in June, on June 9, Philemon Raichman and Thomas Vanbauce confirmed their reunion at the FIP Silver Narbonne tournament, where they will compete as the 14th-ranked pair. On June 2, Italy solidified its position in global padel development, establishing itself as Europe’s most dynamic market after Spain in terms of court installations and international event hosting, evidenced during the BNL Italy Major Premier Padel in Rome. This followed controversy on May 30 at the FIP Platinum tournament in Albania, where player Lok Hei Jamie Yau, ranked 954th, entered the main draw despite limited experience.
