Ivy League Sports is a non-profit organization headquartered in the United States. Founded in 1954, it operates with approximately 50 employees. The organization functions as an American collegiate athletic conference comprising eight private research universities located in the Northeastern United States. It participates in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, with its football teams competing in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The conference has also been referred to as the "Ancient Eight."
