Scripps Layoffs Impact KKTV, KOAA in Colorado Springs
Colorado Springs television stations KKTV and KOAA are among local news operations affected by a nationwide restructuring by the E.W. Scripps Company. Scripps is eliminating 268 positions nationwide, representing about 12% of its workforce. CEO Adam Symson said the company has eliminated 432 positions and 126 open jobs since the beginning of 2026 as it restructures its local television operations.
