KOCT, also known as Oceanside Community Television, is a privately owned non-profit corporation headquartered in the United States. Founded in 1984, the organization has approximately 40 employees. KOCT specializes in providing public, educational, and government access programming and services, which are delivered on platforms including Cox Communications Channels 18 and 19, and AT&T's U-Verse (99).
KOCT TV, the Oceanside channel for news, arts, and culture, aired the Oceanside City Council Meeting on October 7, 2026. This followed its broadcast of the "Oceanside Update: October 2026 Edition" on October 1, 2026. In late September, KOCT TV also hosted "2026 Election LIVE Forums," presenting a discussion on "Measure S" on September 28. Earlier on September 24, the channel featured forums for candidates running in State Assembly District 74 and for Oceanside City Council District 1.
