Kojima Productions announced a 10th-anniversary event, "Beyond the Strand," scheduled for September 23rd, 2025, in Tokyo. This event, presented by Hideo Kojima, will offer a preview of future projects. Separately, news emerged about the release of Death Stranding for Nintendo's new console. Hideo Kojima also reflected on the 27th anniversary of Metal Gear Solid (Japanese release date: September 3, 2025), noting that few original Metal Gear Solid team members remain at Kojima Productions. Another report stated that Kojima will host a special event in late September to celebrate the studio's anniversary and Death Stranding's sequel.
