Korea Educational Broadcasting System, also known as EBS, is a State Owned entity headquartered in South Korea. Founded in 1974, it operates with approximately 120 employees and reported $45.3M in revenue as of 2023. As a tier 2 media tech buyer, the organization functions as a South Korean educational public radio and television network, covering South Korean territory. It is the only major South Korean radio and television network joint venture between the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of Education without a separate regional service, having been established as KBS 3 and KBS Educational Radio in the 1980s before becoming an independent corporation in 1990.
