Kurdistan TV is a privately owned entity headquartered in Iraq. Founded in 1999, it operates with approximately 40 employees. As an entertainment provider, it functions as the first Kurdish language satellite television station in Iraqi Kurdistan and belongs to the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), based in Hawler. The channel primarily broadcasts programs in Kurdish language, viewable through a WS International satellite system, and transmits on Eutelsat for Europe, Western Asia, and North Africa, and on Galaxy 19 for North America.
