Lafayette College, a non-profit organization headquartered in the US, was founded in 1826 and employs approximately 1770 individuals. It functions as a liberal arts college located in eastern Pennsylvania.
Lafayette College recently received reaffirmed favorable bond ratings of A+/A- from Standard & Poor’s and Aa3 from Moody’s, reflecting its strong financial position, stable enrollment trends, and quality of faculty and senior management. Concurrently, the college renewed its EVP for Finance & Administration Kahr through 2030. Also on February 19, Kathryn Meier, the Vice President for Communications, announced her resignation effective March 6, ending her tenure less than a year after joining last March and leaving the division without a permanent leader. Previously, on February 18, the college unveiled a plan to close local trail gaps, aiming to connect College Hill residents and students to wider area resources, a project based on the work of 11 Lafayette civil engineering students. Earlier, on February 10, the Office of Sustainability planned to detail the college’s sustainability efforts and provide updates on its Climate Action Plan 3.0 and broader climate action commitments.
