LBCI, a privately owned company headquartered in the US, was founded in 1985 and employs approximately 1020 individuals. The company specializes in broadcast media production and distribution, encompassing the creation, management, and dissemination of diverse content across television and radio platforms.
Lebanese and American sources informed LBCI on June 6, 2026, that a fifth round of U.S.-mediated talks between Lebanon and Israel is scheduled to occur in Washington from June 22–24, with military discussions on June 22 and political talks on June 23–24. Earlier the same day, Washington sources told LBCI that the comprehensive ceasefire reached last Wednesday in Washington is conditional on Hezbollah’s acceptance of the arrangement and the withdrawal of its forces from positions south of the Litani River, noting that the "pilot zone" mechanism facilitates a gradual Israeli withdrawal and the deployment of the Lebanese Army. Also on June 6, diplomatic sources told LBCI that reports claiming France is seeking to amend the joint Lebanese-Israeli statement, including through contact with U.S. envoy Tom Barrack, are unfounded. On May 23, official Lebanese sources told LBCI that authorities have not received details regarding what the Lebanese front could witness in the event of a U.S.-Iran agreement, though Lebanon would welcome any deal genuinely ending the war and halting operations in southern Lebanon. This followed news from May 19, when LBCI reported that Lebanese lawmakers discussed proposed amendments to the death penalty, including MP Nabil Bader's suggestion to replace it with a fixed prison term of 28 years.
