Craig Semetko’s new photo book, “America Unposed,” featuring 67 images that offer a humorous yet critical look at contemporary America, will appear in March 2026. Previously, on February 16, 2026, Leica announced that its Leica Galleries will celebrate their fiftieth anniversary in April 2026. The first, Leica Gallery Wetzlar, opened in April 1976 as a cultural institution exhibiting documentary and artistic photographs, starting with travel photography by Paul Gluske and expanding to Leica Gallery Solms in 1988. Earlier in February, photographer Henry "Jay" Kamara utilized the Leica SL3-S for documentary work in Burundi, highlighting its seamless photo and video capabilities as essential for creating both a photo series and an advocacy film with the same kit. On January 28, the company introduced the new Noctilux-M 35 f/1.2 ASPH. lens, continuing the 'Noctilux' series which began in 1966 and is known for its exceptional speed. On the same day, Mynxii White created "Portrait of a City," capturing New York’s summer rhythm and reflecting the collaborative movement of two artists through time.
