The Liga Nacional de Fútbol Sala (LNFS), a privately owned Spanish sports association, was founded in 1989. Until mid-2020, it organized Spain's first and second division futsal leagues. Employing approximately 20 people, the LNFS's primary activity is the management of spectator sports. As of 2023, the organization's role in league management has transitioned, with the Royal Spanish Football Federation's Professional Futsal Committee now solely responsible for these competitions following a renewed agreement.
