Liverpool-founded Lime Pictures recently made its first move into vertical drama, partnering with RoseBerry Media’s new vertical-first streaming service epis on “Revenge Is a Dish,” a 57-episode romantic thriller now available globally. This initiative marks the production company’s entry into shows designed specifically for smartphone audiences. Previously, on September 16, 2026, the Banijay-backed company and epis revealed the cast and official trailer for this vertical co-production. Earlier, on August 27, 2026, UK drama production company Clapperboard Studios partnered with Lime Pictures and its L16 Studios facility to boost Clapperboard’s production within the country, with at least two shows scheduled to shoot in north-west England next year. This follows an August 21, 2026 announcement where Lime Pictures’ L16 Studios Media Academy, in partnership with Liverpool City Council’s Film Office and Channel 4’s 4Skills, launched the "Action! Next Take" film and TV training programme, which offers fully funded courses and paid industry placements.
