Louisiana State University of Alexandria, known also as LSU of Alexandria and LSUA, and formerly as Louisiana State University at Alexandria, is a state-owned institution headquartered in the US. Founded in 1959, this public college in Alexandria, Louisiana, approximately eight miles south of downtown Alexandria, functions as a unit of the LSU System under the auspices of the Louisiana Board of Regents. It offers undergraduate degrees across numerous disciplines.
