Malaysia Rugby

Malaysia Rugby, a state-owned entity headquartered in Malaysia, focuses on contact sports. Founded in 1921, the organization operates with approximately 20 employees. Functioning as the governing body for rugby union in Malaysia, it was formerly known as Malaysia Rugby Union (Malay: Kesatuan Ragbi Malaysia). The organization joined the International Rugby Football Board, subsequently known as the International Rugby Board and currently World Rugby, in 1988. Its activities include organizing the annual Malaysia Sevens tournament and various local tournaments.
