The Malaysian Digital Association (MDA), a privately owned organization founded in 2009 and headquartered in Indonesia, serves as a representative body for Malaysia's digital advertising and marketing industry. Established to address the need for standardization and collaboration within the rapidly growing sector, the MDA works to create common industry standards, share resources, and promote best practices. Its activities include developing methods for measuring internet traffic, educating industry stakeholders on the value of digital advertising, and advocating for the industry's interests with a focus on increasing digital advertising expenditure in Malaysia. The MDA is governed by an elected council composed of a president and twelve members representing both media/publishers and service providers.
