Maxicaster, a privately owned company headquartered in Finland, was founded in 2014 and employs approximately 20 individuals. The company functions as a multi-solution technology provider focused on enhancing the passenger and crew journey for the Maritime sector. It delivers complete premium entertainment and passenger services, including conferencing solutions, which are designed to work out of the box with minimal ongoing operator management.
Maxicaster deployed its video and entertainment solution on the Marella Voyager vessel and upgraded the solution on the Explorer and Explorer 2 vessels. This expansion follows an extension of the partnership between Maxicaster and Marella Cruises. Separately, Maxicaster provided Fjord Line with a modular entertainment-as-a-service solution, enabling passengers to access live TV, movies, series, ship tracking, and daily schedules through cabin TVs, public spaces, and mobile devices.
