Medical University of Silesia, a state-owned institution headquartered in Poland, was founded in 1948 as a medical academy and now employs approximately 760 individuals. Functioning as a public higher education institution, it has grown to become the largest medical school in Poland, operating multiple specialized faculties across Katowice, Zabrze, Sosnowiec, and Bytom.
