On September 11, 2026, the Met Office published a contract notice for the supply of Motus Wave Sensors, to be provided as and when required with a one-year warranty. Previously, on September 10, the agency issued a contract details notice for a Socio-Economic Benefit analysis for its WISER Program Contract 1. Earlier on September 9, the Met Office awarded a contract for specialist expertise in SIF processing interpretation and integration support with JULES, aiming to deliver quality-assured analysis of Amazon FACE SIF observations and recommendations for future dataset exploitation. Also on September 9, Made Tech Group PLC announced its appointment to three lots under the Met Office's new four-year Delivery Partnerships Framework 2 (DPF2), a framework valued at up to £68 million intended to support technology solutions across Met Office products and services.
