Microchip Technology introduced its MCPF1525 Power Module on February 6, a 16V input buck converter designed for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing applications. The module delivers 25A per module and can scale up to 200A through stacking, addressing the need for high efficiency, dependability, and scalability. Earlier the same day, Microchip announced a collaboration with Hyundai Motor Group to investigate the use of 10BASE-T1S Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) as a next-generation in-vehicle networking standard. This initiative aims to support the development of more efficient, reliable, and scalable vehicle architectures for future connected and smart vehicles.
