Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, also known as MEAC, is a non-profit organization headquartered in the United States. Founded in 1970, the conference employs approximately 30 individuals. It functions as a collegiate athletic conference whose full members are historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) located in the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic United States. The conference participates in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, and in football, specifically in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
