Miele, a German family-owned company founded in 1899, manufactures premium domestic and commercial appliances. Its product range encompasses kitchen appliances (ovens, refrigerators, coffee machines, dishwashers), laundry appliances (washing machines, dryers), and vacuum cleaners. Miele also produces commercial dishwashers, washer-extractors, and dryers, along with medical-grade washer-disinfectors and sterilisers. Operating eight production facilities in Germany and one each in Austria, the Czech Republic, China, and Romania, Miele employs approximately 20,950 people globally and distributes its products in nearly 100 countries through subsidiaries and importers. In 2020, the company reported sales of €4.5 billion.
