On September 9, 2025, Vitro Architectural Glass published a white paper detailing research and testing conducted for BirdSmart® Bird Safe Glass, noting a lack of industry standards for testing bird-friendly glass. Vitro Architectural Glass also released an analysis of the BirdSmart® Bird Safe Glass development and testing, emphasizing the need for standardized guidelines in the industry. Separately, the next generation of VacuMax™ Vacuum Insulating Glass (VIG) from Vitro Architectural Glass received the 2025 R&D 100 Award. Finally, on September 17, 2025, renovations were completed on the Embassy Suites and Avalara Hawk Tower at 255 South King Street in Seattle, featuring Vitro Architectural Glass and offering views of the city.
