He highlighted that re-editing or reshooting adds further financial strain, potentially resulting in losses running into several crores for mid-to-large budget films, especially if release windows are missed or campaigns require restructuring. Earlier, on January 27, 2026, Miraj Cinemas announced its entry into Patiala with the launch of a four-screen multiplex at Spectra Mall. This new facility, which opened on January 23 and is located on Rajpura Road, features 803 seats and offers a mix of regular and premium 'Signature' formats.
