Momenta is a privately owned company headquartered in China, founded in 2016 and employing approximately 490 individuals. The company specializes in artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, developing autonomous driving solutions designed to enhance safety, convenience, and efficiency of mobility.
Momenta deployed its Robovan business in Xiangcheng District, Suzhou, Jiangsu, on July 27, 2026. The Robovan, powered by the company's World Model, is operating on express parcel routes, including at night, to provide round-the-clock driverless logistics for urban "last mile" supply chains. Earlier in 2026, IM Motors launched its IM5 and IM6 models in the United Arab Emirates and Tunisia; both models feature the IM driver assistance system, a joint development between IM Motors and Momenta. This followed an announcement on February 1, 2026, by Mercedes-Benz and Momenta regarding a partnership milestone after the successful launch of the all-electric CLA in China. The collaboration aims to deliver a safety-first driving experience tailored for complex Chinese urban environments. In late 2025, on December 17, Momenta formed a strategic partnership with Grab, which included an investment from Grab, aimed at bringing advanced autonomous driving technologies to Southeast Asia's urban mobility markets.
