Momenta, a privately owned Chinese company founded in 2016, develops software, primarily focused on artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Employing approximately 490 people, the company's core product area is the creation of autonomous driving technology. Their stated goal is to improve safety, convenience, and efficiency in transportation through AI-powered advancements.
On March 18, 2025, Momenta invested in AICA, a Swiss company developing AI-driven robotic automation. This funding aims to support AICA's global expansion. Separately, Acuity Law represented the selling shareholders of Discover Momenta and its subsidiary, Momenta Newcastle, in their acquisition by Liva Healthcare. This acquisition occurred at an unspecified date. Finally, on November 12, 2024, Dongfeng Nissan announced a strategic cooperation agreement with Momenta for smart driving technology. Momenta was named as a partner alongside other technology companies in a subsequent announcement at a technology conference on an unspecified date in March.
